It’s obvious that Julen Lopetegui wants to use the summer transfer window to bolster his offensive options at West Ham.

That is reportedly one of the Spaniard’s two top priorities when he plays at the London Stadium this summer.

It’s not surprising at all, actually. During the January transfer window,

00Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals were permitted to depart; neither was replaced.

If Lopetegui is to see any real development at the London Stadium, his front line has to be faster and more varied.

And according on the most recent sources, the 57-year-old West Ham manager is working really hard to find an attacker this summer.

West Ham to make second bid for forward

Both Lopetegui and Tim Steidten, the director of football, are unrelenting in their pursuit of offensive reinforcements.

While one Hammers sale is almost finalised, there’s a good chance another one may close soon.

As per a Goal Brasil report, Wesley Gassova is expected to get an offer of £17 million from West Ham, which is likely to be approved by Corinthians.

After making a £15 million attempt to buy him last month, the Hammers have since turned their attention to Luis Guilherme.

The 18-year-old is presently going through his physical in preparation for a summer transfer to the London Stadium,

but the Hammers don’t seem to be done there.

Two kids from Brazil might be on their way to the London Stadium.

Even if Wesley Gassova and Luis Guilherme are unknowns in the Premier League, West Ham would still benefit greatly from their signings.

It remains to be seen, though, if £17 million will be sufficient to convince the 19-year-old Corinthians superstar to sign.
