With Ryan Fraser, there seems to be hope for Newcastle United once again.
According to recent reports, a deal has been reached for the 30-year-old to
become a permanent fixture at Southampton.
The story, which originates from the dependable Athletic,
states that the parties have achieved a general deal and are only
completing the last few specifics.
Ryan Fraser has been anything from a cheap, “free” signing for
Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce, who made a terrible signing.
Ryan Fraser watched as Eddie Howe’s team was relegated after shamelessly
running out his contract at Bournemouth and refusing to
play at the end of the Covid-affected 2019–20 season.
Fraser subsequently moved to Newcastle United for astronomical
earnings, with no transfer fee to pay.

Ryan Fraser has taken enormous sums of money, but in exchange,
he has only started 30 Premier League games and scored two goals.
Hopefully, this transaction closes and Fraser,
who still has a year left on his contract, is permanently released off United’s payroll.
