Sulley Muntari, a former player for AC Milan, stays longer in Spain

Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has signed with struggling Spanish team Deportivo La Coruna for the end of the current campaign.

Following a fruitful trial session with the club, the decision was made.

The 33-year-old former Portsmouth and Sunderland player, who left Italian club Pescara in the summer as a free agent, made an impression on Clarence Seedorf, the new manager of Deportivo.

After their time together at AC Milan, Muntari and Seedorf get back together.

While managing the Italian team, the Dutchman also served as the Ghanaian’s coach.

Muntari joined an elite club of athletes who had represented both Milan titans, having made his name in Italy with Udinese and Inter Milan.
