Postecoglou set an all-time Premier League record in his first season at Spurs

In his first ten league games as Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou amassed more points than any other manager

in Premier League history, according to Alasdair Gold.

Tottenham launched into the season with such zeal and aggression that opposing teams were unable to handle them.

The North Londoners had a fantastic start to the campaign.

The speed with which Postecoglou had transformed a counterattacking team into a hyperattacking, high-scoring unit surprised a lot of people.

November saw Spurs comfortably at the top of the standings, and the Australian was named Premier League Manager of

the Month three times in a row.

Gold claims that the 58-year-old broke the previous Premier League record by grabbing 26 of the first 30 points that

were available.

Sadly, after Spurs lost several of its star players to injuries and bans, the wheels came off in the months that followed.

The Lilywhites were never able to regain the same momentum and ultimately failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Postecoglou will be hopeful that his team will start well the following season and that they can sustain their momentum.
