HITC is aware that Juventus is determined to sign at least one important Premier League player this summer.
With former Bologna player Thiago Motta trying to turn the club’s fortunes around following his appointment,
Juventus are in for a crucial summer.
Douglas Luiz, a 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder for Aston Villa, has been linked to a move away from the team.
HITC understands that the Italian powerhouses are still interested in signing the Brazilian.
The former Manchester City midfielder is valued at £50 million by the Midlands club, but the Italian powerhouses
are unwilling to meet that amount.
HITC is aware that Juventus is looking to sign the Brazilian and hopes to offer a number of players to the Premier
League team.
Juventus has a set budget, and they have already made progress in signing Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners
from Atalanta, goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio of Monza, and defender Riccardo Calafiori of Bologna, who is
moving to Turin to join head coach Motta.
It’s uncertain if the 26-year-old will accept the Midlands club’s offer of a new contract, as HITC has previously
reported.
Juventus intends to finalize the acquisition of the midfield player that was essential to the Midlands club the
previous campaign, and they have many names in mind that they would be prepared to present to Unai Emery’s
team.
As far as HITC is aware, the Italian powerhouses have been in talks to sign a contract with the Midlands club.
Players who have been mentioned in the agreement include Dean Huijsen, Weston McKennie, Mathias Soule, and
Samuel Iling-Junior.
McKennie, an American midfielder who was previously at Leeds United, is a player whom Villa has reportedly
conducted talks to sign. He may be a big addition to Villa Park.
It is believed that the American will be sold by the Italian powerhouses this summer, and McKennie joining a
Premier League team in the summer would be a wise move.
