Bayern Munich reach total agreement with Leverkusen at bid summit.

Jonathan Tah, the champion of the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, and Bayern Munich have apparently reached a total agreement for a contract that will last until 2029.

Florian Plettenberg reports that Tah has informed club management that he wants to play for Vincent Kompany‘s team.

It was previously reported that Tah would make a decision regarding his future last week.

Tah is entering the final year of his contract at Bayer Leverkusen,

and if he doesn’t sign an extension beyond 2025, he will most likely leave the team.

Bayer is unwilling to lose the defender on a free transfer next summer.

Levi Colwill of Chelsea is a potential substitute for Bayern Munich.

But Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is a backup if Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are unable to come to an agreement.

Colwill is a product of Chelsea’s junior program, hence the sale of him will benefit them in terms of Premier League PSR regulations.

He would also be sold for pure profit.

Additionally, Tah and Colwill could potentially sign for Bayern this summer.
