Chelsea open to offers for £50m striker as Enzo Maresca looks for settled squad

Armando Broja is a striker that Chelsea is open to offers for before the summer transfer window opens.

Prior to the window opening, the 22-year-old, who has a contract with Stamford Bridge that runs through the

summer of 2028, is attracting interest from both England and elsewhere.

Although Broja was loaned to Fulham, a west London rival, for the second part of the 2023–24 season,

he was unable to cement a place in the starting lineup under manager Marco Silva.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, the Albanian striker, who will play for his country in the Euros starting later this week,

was unable to secure a position in the squad. Instead, Nicolas Jackson was chosen over Broja, which is unfortunate

news for the Cobham team because there’s a likelihood another striker will move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Football teams Everton and others have been connected to a deal for the striker.London is aware that rumors

claiming Broja’s relocation to Goodison Park is practically final are untrue.

This summer, the Toffees plan to concentrate on transfer business after resolving their ownership concerns.

But during the January transfer window, the Merseyside club was only one of many teams closely monitoring Broja.

Chelsea was adamant at the time to sell the Albanian international, and they demanded £50 million. However, clubs

turned down Broja due to the Blues’ asking price, and he ultimately moved on loan to Fulham.

Broja acknowledged that if the proper opportunity presented itself this summer, he might consider leaving Chelsea.

“Nothing has been decided yet, but of course I would want to do that if I need to go somewhere else to get back in my

groove,” Broja stated in an interview with The Athletic.
