DONE DEAL: Atlético Madrid finally sign Real Sociedad star, Robin Le Normand, as clubs reach an agreement for personal terms – Fabrizio Romano

The powers that be at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are closing on an agreement with their counterparts at Real Sociedad, over the signing of Robin Le Normand.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Sunday provided an update on the situation.

It is of course common knowledge that the Atlético brass have long identified Le Normand as a priority transfer target.

Amid their ongoing search for reinforcements at the back, the Spanish international has been earmarked as the ideal profile by Diego Simeone and his coaching staff with a view to next season.

Negotiations, in turn, were recently kicked into gear with the board at Real Sociedad.

And, if the latest word to have surfaced on Sunday evening is anything to go by, then such talks appear to be moving very much in the right direction.

As per the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano:

‘Atlético Madrid are advancing to complete Robin Le Normand deal soon.’

An agreement on the personal terms of a contract is in place between club and player, with Atléti ‘confident’ that an accord will soon be found with their counterparts at Anoeta, too.
