Transfer latest: Portsmouth cool interest in in-demand attacking midfielder linked with Ipswich, Wigan and Peterborough

The News has learned that the Blues inquired about the availability of the Northern Ireland under-21 international

after the 22-year-old’s 23 goals and 12 assists for the National League team in the previous season.

However, it’s said that Pompey is currently considering alternative options as they try to bolster their roster in

preparation for their comeback to the Championship after testing the waters.

The forward’s form for the Moss Lane team has drawn a lot of attention, and in recent weeks, he has been the subject
