Leeds United would think about getting rid of Joel Piroe

The Red Bull millions they have gained will undoubtedly help during the summer transfer window,

but Leeds United supporters should be just as thrilled about new arrivals at Elland Road as they are about many

important players leaving.

In an effort to improve next season and use this heartbreak as motivation to return to the top division at the second

attempt, Daniel Farke and company won’t just sit back and watch their star-studded team, which was agonizingly

close to a promotion back up to the Premier League, be destroyed without drafting in replacements.

That will be easier said than done, though, as Kieran McKenna and Ipswich Town proved when they earned back-to-

back promotions and prevented Leeds from taking a more gradual approach to moving up a division.

The Championship is an unpredictable league at best.

Even yet, Leeds might dominate the division despite any lasting effects from the previous year thanks to a number of players being linked to free transfers.

A clever transfer could also be in the works.

Numerous players are being connected to a move to West Yorkshire this summer as Farke gets ready to add some

much-needed skill to the team in anticipation of a possible mass exodus that may yet occur.

In addition to Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison, West Ham United defender Ben Johnson, and Stuttgart

winger Silas Katompa Mvumpa, Leeds has also been linked to a new player who is being projected to move to Elland

Road.

Bobby Decordova-Reid, a longtime Fulham employee, is a new face that manager Daniel Farke is reportedly eyeing

ahead of a partial rebuild. According to TEAMTalk, the Cottagers attacking midfielder will not be signing a new

contract to continue working with Marco Silva’s team after negotiations broke down.

TEAMTalk claims that Everton is also reportedly interested, which might complicate Leeds’ chase.
