Bruno Guimaraes drops clear Newcastle transfer hint and FFP admission amid Arsenal interest

Bruno Guimaraes, a great midfielder for Newcastle United, has stated his happiness at St James’ Park, but he also knows that the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules could have an impact on his future.

Newcastle is one of six Premier League teams who may have to sell players this summer in order to abide by FFP regulations, according to a report from Sky Sports News on Thursday.

After an outstanding season under Eddie Howe,

Guimaraes is apparently one of the players that could go.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and numerous more European teams are reportedly interested in signing him.

In response to inquiries from Brazilian media over his intentions for the forthcoming transfer window,

Guimaraes sent a very clear message to Newcastle’s leadership.

“Look, my future, to be honest, is in God’s hands,” he said.

“I’m thrilled that I have a contract with Newcastle, and like I mentioned, I’m aware of their admiration for me and everything I’ve done for the team.

In summary, I’m delighted that I have a contract.

“We are fully aware of Financial Fair Play, so I’m not sure what may go wrong, but I can say that I’m happy right now.

Being affiliated with large clubs is certainly extremely wonderful; it shows that I’m doing well, but as I mentioned,

I’m happy at the club, so I’m not worried about it.

“Let’s see what happens, I’m extremely happy.

I’m content, I’m not in a rush, and God will decide what will happen.

Given the uncertainty surrounding Thomas Partey’s future,

Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to bolster his central midfield in the summer transfer window.

Throughout his 50 appearances for Newcastle last season,

the Brazilian scored seven goals and provided ten assists.
