Done deal: Everton has signed Conor Gallagher for £45 million from Chelsea-personal terms agreed

 Everton have submitted a bid worth £40m plus £5m in add-ons for Chelsea’s midfielder Conor Gallagher.

With just over 24 hours left in the transfer window, Chelsea will decide soon.

The 22-year-old, who played for England in the World Cup last year, is attracting interest from other teams as well.

This season, Gallagher has made 18 appearances in the Premier League, with one assist and one goal.

Gallagher, who was on loan at Crystal Palace last season, had an incredible season despite his relatively low goal total.

He assisted three times and finished the Premier League with eight goals from midfield.

If he signs with the Toffees, Everton will be hoping he can repeat the form he displayed at Crystal Palace.

Everton will be eager to replace their joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season after Newcastle United

completed the signing of Anthony Gordon.
