The European medalist and the Celtics have achieved a personal agreement as they get closer to replace Joe Hart.

After Joe Hart’s successful retirement, Celtic are searching for a new goalie to take his place.

In his final game, Hart won a derby in the Scottish Cup Final,

earning him his seventh trophy in three years—three league titles in a row.

Celtic are linked to a number of possible replacements as the summer transfer window approaches.

Kenan Piric, an international goalkeeper for Bosnia and Herzegovina,

is one of the goalkeepers that Celtic is interested in.

The Daily Star claims that Celtic, Southampton in the Premier League, and Sheffield United in the Championship are keeping a close eye on Piric.

After his contract with Cypriot team AEK Larnaca expired at the end of the 2023–2024 season,

Piric became a free agent, which means Celtic could sign the goaltender for nothing.

According to the Daily Record, Celtic is getting close to signing a goalkeeper to take Joe Hart’s place.

In 26 league games during his second season with the Cypriot team, Piric kept 13 clean sheets.

Piric isn’t a particularly standout goalkeeper,

but he might be an excellent backup for Celtic because Sigerist is probably going to leave.
