Leeds want to sign striker similar to peak Cristiano Ronaldo

A player who has shown promise in the Bundesliga over the past 12 months and has drawn comparisons to

Timo Werner and Cristiano Ronaldo is currently being linked to Leeds United.

Leeds will require a new winger or two in the summer since Crysencio Summerville and Willy Gnonto are

expected to depart the team this summer and Jaidon Anthony has already confirmed his return to

Bournemouth.

In a major boost, Dan James informed Leeds supporters that he will see them “next season.” Jon Newsome, a

former Leeds player, had projected that the Wales star might end up at Southampton this summer.

Leeds will need a winger this summer, and this week, Stuttgart and DR Congo’s Silas has been linked to the

team. It follows a somewhat uneven season with the formidable German team.

In fact, throughout 2023–24, Silas only managed to start nine of his thirty games while wearing a Stuttgart shirt.

Despite not starting games, he still contributed to 13 goals, and his ability to score and create was noticeable.

After being signed by the German team for five years, Silas was featured in a profile on the Bundesliga website

in 2023. They claimed he plays similarly to Ronaldo and Werner, an £8.5 million Tottenham player.

Few players are as direct as Silas; he plays as though a magnet is pulling him in the direction of the goal.

Timo Werner is one player who resembles this; he can play in the middle or on the wing, but he always ends up

in the box.
