Ipswich Town Suffers a Serious Transfer Setback.

This week, Kieffer Moore of Bournemouth could still have a future at The Vitality Stadium, according to Bournemouth Echo report. This is a big blow for Ipswich Town’s head coach, Andoni Iraola.

Moore was on loan at Portman Road for the second half of the previous season, where his seven goals in 18 games helped them win promotion back to the Premier League.

The striker, who joined The Cherries in January 2022 from Cardiff City, still has a year remaining on his contract.

The 31-year-old has demonstrated that he is capable of scoring goals in the Premier League in addition to being a prolific goal scorer in the EFL.

The Bournemouth manager has praised his returning loanee as a result of such outstanding numbers.

“I’m overjoyed. He has undoubtedly proven that he can score goals. The Spaniard told the Bournemouth Echo, “He is a very good number nine.”

He did, however, continue to acknowledge that strikers find it challenging to establish themselves as regular starters in the first team because of Dominic Solanke’s consistently impressive play since Iraola’s appointment last summer.

In fact, he acknowledged that Enes Unal, who joined the South Coast team from Spanish club Getafe, found it difficult to overtake his English counterpart.

But even for Enes, it is incredibly challenging. Dom Solanke is here right now, therefore it is hard for me to give Enes more minutes even though he is performing so well.

Dome is playing so brilliantly that he isn’t allowing the other number nines many opportunities.

It seems likely that Ipswich will have to go elsewhere this summer if Bournemouth wants to hang onto the Welshman.

Kieran McKenna might still be interested in a proven Premier League front even though they have striking options in their ranks.
