A Leicester supporter questioned Bruce about taking over as manager of the King Power Stadium while he was

appearing on Talksport radio. The team was looking for a new manager after Enzo Maresca decided to join

Chelsea. However, it is believed that the Foxes could lose points prior to their Premier League comeback

because of purported violations of profit and sustainability regulations.

Bruce retorted, “A point deduction wouldn’t put me off.” You already know where I am, Leicester! What a

fantastic opportunity that has presented itself all of a sudden. Although they may be dealing with some issues,

Leicester has been a fantastic team in recent years, especially after their incredible Premier League victory a few

years ago.

Bruce said, “I’m looking to do something,” when asked if he was looking to return to work.

I mean, I’ve been off for a year now.

“Either management, or working alongside somebody,” he continued.

Or I’d like to believe that I would want to respond to a chairman’s query on football.

It’s been a while since I was.

However, I’ve been unemployed for a long winter in this country, so taking action is the next best thing.

Between 2009 and 2011, Bruce oversaw Sunderland, which placed 13th and 10th in the Premier League.

Then, in the 2011–12 season, he was fired after a string of disappointing performances.
