Although Lopetegui has been linked to Serie A powerhouse AC Milan, he was first mentioned as a potential Erik ten Hag replacement at Manchester United.

According to Steinburg, Lopetegui is now the “frontrunner” to join West Ham and is “out of the running for AC Milan.”
