Crystal Palace put £20m valuation on Odsonne Edouard as Celtic on alert

Odsonne Edouard is valued at £20 million by Crystal Palace, and it appears that the striker

will leave this summer. Edouard is lower on Oliver Glasner’s priority list at Palace,

but he will probably try to make his mark this summer.
Though this was merely conjecture on social media, there has been some talk that

Celtic would be interested in the player. The player’s sell-on value is perhaps the

only thing that Celtic are interested in.

The South London Press reports that Palace is open to considering bids for the Frenchman.

For Celtic, the substantial price might mean a multimillion-dollar return.

After achieving a double, the Scottish Champions are undergoing a summer rearmament,

with several positions anticipated to be strengthened. That being said, Edouard will not be coming back.

After joining Celtic in a £9 million signing back in 2017, Edouard scored 87

goals and provided 39 assists before leaving the team in the summer of 2021.

After joining on a season-long loan, Edouard rose from being Celtic’s third-choice behind

Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele to a regular spot in the starting lineup.

During his tenure at the Hoops, he created several amazing moments and

scored twice as Celtic defeated Rangers 5-0 to win the 7IAR.
