Ahead of their NBA Finals matchup, Luka Doncic refutes reports of a feud with Kristaps Porzingis of the Celtics.
There will be two player reunions with their previous teams at the 2024 NBA Finals. The Boston Celtics, Kyrie Irving’s previous squad, and the Dallas Mavericks, Kristaps Porzingis’ team from 2019 to 2021, will square off.
Chandler Parsons, a former Mavericks player, recently hinted that there may have been conflict between Luka Doncic and Porzingis while they were teammates in Dallas.
Doncic refuted this, saying that despite Porzingis’s difficulties on the court, he and Porzingis have a positive relationship.
Even if their time together in Dallas did not result in the success that was anticipated, Porzingis and Doncic have both found success in other places.
While Doncic has become one of the league’s best players and guided the Mavericks to their first NBA Finals berth since 2011, Porzingis has been a key component of the Celtics’ success.
