“I feel at ease. I believe I have prepared myself to be here with you today because I’m an honest person and I make an effort to be extremely clear with what we do,” he said.

“I am really happy of the learning path I have taken,

having played football at every level not just in England but throughout the world.

I’ve coached hours and have a ton of personal experience. It seems like a natural fit for me.

“I believe I’m as capable of managing as anyone, and I want to be the manager,

as I was asked to do three or four months ago. However, that’s not my choice.”
