Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, is likely to try to expand his offensive options this summer.

Joel Piroe struggled to find consistency in the last stretch of the 2023–24 season,

and Patrick Bamford’s playing time was restricted due to injuries.

Mateo Joseph, a talented potential for Spain’s Under-21 team, is still very much a work in progress.

Daniel Jebbison of Sheffield United might be the long-term answer to their No. 9 problem.

HITC claims that one of the Whites’ “top transfer targets” is the 20-year-old.

The Blades contract with Jebbison expires at the end of the month. Although he has been given a new contract,

he has not yet decided to play for United’s opponents in Yorkshire.

Due to a blood clot, Jebbison, a former England youth international who is also eligible for Canada,

missed the majority of the 2023–24 season.

Their Premier League fate was already decided when he came back into the game.

Jebbison has allegedly “generated offers” from all around England and Europe,

according to the HITC article, but the Whites are optimistic that they will be able to hire him.

According to reports, clubs attempting to recruit Jebbison include Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion,

Ipswich Town, and Leicester City. According to reports, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Valencia,

and Monaco have also shown interest in hiring him.

It is believed that United technical director Gretar Steinsson, who previously spotted Jebbison during his time at Everton,

is keen to bring in Jebbison as the club want more physicality on the front line.

When quizzed on Jebbison’s future back in March, Sheffield United’s CEO Stephen Bettis said:

“We are still working on it, we are having positive conversations about it at the minute.”
