The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who signed a new one-year contract with Forest with an option for an additional year, joined the team in May 2013.

Bott had a successful 2023–24 season, starting 14 games in Premier League 2 and playing in the EFL Trophy match against Accrington Stanley.

“We are all thrilled for Aaron that he has signed a new contract with the club and look forward to seeing him develop further as a person and as a player,” said Chris McGuane, head of the academy.

“Aaron has been with the team for eleven years and is deserving of this chance since he is not just a great player but also a wonderful person.

“We wish him well and look forward to seeing him develop further.”
Jimmy Sinclair has re-signed a contract with Nottingham Forest, the club is happy to report.

The 17-year-old defender, who signed a new one-year contract with Forest in October 2021, has an option to extend it by another year with the club.

In addition to making 15 appearances and tallying three goals in the U18 Premier League, Sinclair had a great 2023–24 season. He also made ten appearances in Premier League 2 in the latter half of the season.

The full-back played in the October EFL Trophy match against Carlisle United as well.

Chris McGuane, Head of Academy, stated: “After joining the club a few years ago, Jimmy definitely deserves the opportunity to stay with us.”

“He and his family are a credit to him and the staff truly like working with him, and they see the excitement he brings each day to training to be a better athlete and person.

His performance this past season was indicative of his dedication to improving and his constant giving-it-all attitude.

“We look forward to seeing him improve as a player further and delighted he has this opportunity.”
