After Brendan Rodgers completed his first season at Celtic, the club is looking to bolster its roster this summer, therefore the transfer madness is underway.

The Celtic manager is eager to turn around the Parkhead team’s fortunes in the next Champions League campaign.
But in order to accomplish that, the Celtic manager will need to sign elite players. Furthermore, as everyone knows, good players are expensive.

For this reason, Simon Donnelly has pleaded with Celtic to spend big money on a player who he believes can bear the burden of representing the team.

During the second part of this season, Celtic’s Adam Idah was a revelation. Donelly has urged the team to “go and get him” after scoring a last-minute winner in the Scottish Cup. His goals alone kept Rodgers in the running for the championship.

Donnelly commented, “I don’t think his Instagram thing was a thing,” to Superscoreboard. I believe they ought to go get him.

“I believe he’s done enough to be taken into consideration, even if they have to spend six or seven [million pounds].”

“There’s nothing better than scoring the winning goal in the Scottish Cup when pitching yourself to a club.

£10 million? Why not? As we briefly discussed at the intermission, Celtic doesn’t usually go out and spend that kind of money.

However, reality must also exist. The man has entered the building and fulfilled all of the requests made of him thus far.

That is one aspect of it, then. By simply touching the shirt, the manager is aware that he is ready to play. In contrast to someone who would be entirely new coming in, he has scored a few goals versus Rangers, which will serve him well going forward.

Time will tell but this is a story we will certainly be keeping a close eye on if, and when, developments happen.
