Rangers Officially Announce Departure of Philippe Clement – Details

The official first player departure of the summer for Rangers has been confirmed by manager Philippe Clement. As the Ibrox team recovers from yet another Old Firm defeat, many more are expected.

Before and after the game, the manager, who was uncharacteristically “eccentric,”

made it public that Croatian defender Borna Barisic had quit the team and hadn’t prepared for the cup final,

therefore he had no place as a departing player.

After six years with the Rangers, Barisic is set to sign a contract with Trabzonspor in Turkey.

The Super Lig squad has been pursuing him for months and

appears to have finally secured his services under freedom of contract.

Even though John Lundstram, another prominent Rangers player who is leaving the team,

is also anticipated to join with the Trabzon-based team,
