CONFIRMED: Leicester City will announce Philippe Clement as new manager in the 24hrs,after leaving Rangers
He takes over for Michael Beale, who was fired two weeks ago after just ten months in command after the team suffered its third straight league loss in a row.
After a brief stint in Monaco, Clement returns to Belgium where he found success,
winning three straight Pro League titles at Genk and Club Brugge.
As the 19th permanent manager of Rangers Football Club, he declared,

Stephan van der Heyden, a former Belgium international,
is anticipated to be named Clement’s assistant at Rangers.
He has held positions as a number two at Sporting Lokeren, FK Vardar Skopje,
the Jordan national team, and Club Brugge, where he was also a scout,
before most recently serving as an assistant with the Kerala Blasters in India.
“As a manager and as a player, Rangers are getting a proven winner.
“As a player, he has won multiple Belgian championships, and as a manager,
he has won three straight crowns with Genk and Club Brugge in recent years.
“I believe he has the mindset necessary to enter this setting and completely seize the opportunity.
He is aware of the necessity of winning, big time.
“He has experience entering somewhat chaotic clubs, bringing them back to order,
and igniting their fire. He’s accustomed to receiving outcomes rapidly.
