If his new team is unable to reach an agreement with the Irons, a tribunal will determine the compensation

amount. Sunderland is already in the process of negotiating a contract to bring him to the Stadium of Light.

Though he was once considered one of the most promising players to come through the Premier League club’s

academy in recent years, the England Under-20 international has had his opportunities at the London Stadium

limited.

The forward is now anticipated to depart East London early in the upcoming month, with the Black Cats

competing with several other Championship teams for his signing.

Divin Mubama is expected to complete his career with West Ham.

Mubama debuted in the Europa Conference League in November 2022 and has only made eighteen senior

appearances for West Ham.

The striker, who was born in Newham, scored the first goal for the Hammers in the competition in March 2023,

but he hasn’t been able to add to his total since.

The adolescent player, who played just 74 minutes in the Premier League during the most recent season,

is thought to have been disgruntled with his lack of first-team opportunities underneath David Moyes.

Mubama is now in negotiations to join Sunderland, who are looking to bolster their youthful roster at the

Stadium of Light.

Following Moyes’s dismissal as manager of West Ham, Julen Lopetegui is anticipated to make several changes

at the London Stadium, therefore Mubama may not be the only player to depart this summer.
