Rangers could sign their own Salah in late move for £3m Diomande partner

Rangers might sign a gifted Dutch winger to lessen Sima’s loss.

Mohammed Diomande, a midfield player, is getting close to joining Glasgow Rangers.

He arrived in Glasgow today to finalize his £4.5 million transfer to the team.

With eight days till deadline day, Philippe Clement, a Belgian manager, will be aiming to entice one or more

more players to the team. This will be his second January signing, after Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Fabio Silva

joined on loan.

The 49-year-old will undoubtedly be eager to expand his offensive options, and this may prompt him to add a

center-forward or winger.

This need has been made more pressing by Abdallah Sima‘s long-term injury sustained while serving for his

country, and in recent weeks, the club has been linked to a number of players.

Rangers’ pursuit of new players

The Vitesse Arnhem winger Million Manhoef is one player the club has been connected to, and Clement has

been busy during the winter break.

The Gers were eager to bring the Dutchman to Glasgow during the January transfer window, according to a

TEAMtalk story at the beginning of the month, and it might cost them roughly £3 million.

Now that Sima’s injury has been revealed, a move for the young player needs to be prioritized.

Because he can play on both wings, Clement might be persuaded to make a firm offer for the gifted winger.

Football Scotland, who also say that Clement should strive harder to recruit Manhoef in light of Sima’s setback,

supports this idea even though no formal approach has been made yet.

But might anything happen in the following seven days? particularly if the Giants perform poorly in their games

against St. Mirren this weekend and Hibs today.
