Conor Coady, a former star of Huddersfield Town and Sheffield United,

is allegedly close to signing a contract with Stoke City.
The 31-year-old initially joined Sheffield United on loan from Liverpool for the 2013–14 season,

and he played in Yorkshire for back-to-back seasons.

After his time at Bramall Lane, he signed a permanent deal with Huddersfield and played his

whole 2014–15 season in West Yorkshire.

During his time in Yorkshire, he was a defensive-minded midfielder,

but he eventually developed into one of the Premier League’s most dependable center backs.

Despite being past his prime, Coady appears to still be in demand, according to sources.
