Tottenham makes move to sign €100m triple raid for electric Serie A trio in replacement of Radu Dragusin

This summer, Tottenham plans to launch a triple Serie A raid,

spending over €100 million of it. The ambitious plan begins with the signing of Andrea Cambiaso,

a versatile full-back from Juventus.

This season, the north London team advanced quickly under Ange Postecoglou,

as both fans and commentators were won over by the Australian’s no-nonsense manner and aesthetically beautiful style of play.

But even though Tottenham had an incredible start to the season—

winning eight of their first ten games to take the lead in the Premier League—

a number of injuries in the fall and winter caused them to lose out on their

chances of winning the league as well as finishing in the top four.

Spurs did, however, accomplish a top five finish, demonstrating

the club’s growth under Postecoglou’s leadership and at least bringing Europa League competition back to the N17 next season.

But as Postecoglou tries to implement phase two of his rebuilding plans,

preparations are well on for what promises to be a busy summer of arrivals and departures at the team.

The Tottenham manager has started by making room for ten stars to depart as part of a significant summer cleanout.

Additionally, Spurs will lose a lot of money on the £225 million in free agents,

but it will create room in the roster for the 58-year-old to bring in his own players.

Tottenham to rival Aston Villa for €40m Juventus defender

To begin with, rumors circulating in Italy state that Spurs are prepared to make a

€40 million offer to sign Juventus defender Cambiaso this summer.

The 24-year-old, who spent the 2023–24 season playing 24 games as a right-back and an

additional 11 games as a left-back for Juventus, is among the most gifted and flexible full-backs in Italy.

The defender, who has been captained twice by Italy,

is anticipated to be a member of Luciano Spalletti’s team this summer as they attempt to retain the European Championship.

Due to his outstanding play, Juventus is eager to give the former Genoa player a new contract,

but they might also be inclined to cash in if a sizable offer is made.

Postecoglou makes clear plan on Radu Dragusin

For Postecoglou, Calafiori is a crucial substitute for first-choice players Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven,

who have both struggled with injuries and suspensions in recent seasons.

But sources close to TEAMtalk have revealed that Calafiori is still very much in Postecoglou’s thoughts and that Tottenham is not currently considering selling the Romanian, despite growing reports in the Italian media that he has been identified as a replacement for January signing Radu Dragusin and amid growing links over a move to Napoli.

Due to his agent’s dissatisfaction with Dragusin’s lack of playing time since his January €30 million (£26.7 million) move from Genoa, there has been conjecture that he may be moving again this summer.

Postecoglou, though, is keen to keep the 22-year-old at the team and believes he will be an important addition to the team moving ahead and a player who will quickly establish himself in north London and the Premier League.

In order to do this, the Spurs manager wants to have four elite central defensive alternatives available to him.

Spurs, on the other hand, are said to be planning an official approach to finalize the sale and maybe secure a €100 million triple raid on Serie A. They are not deterred by such an expenditure.
