The Boston Celtics might reunite in the near future. Star center Kristaps Porzingis of the Celtics may be back in action by Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Indiana Pacers, according to ESPN’s NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

In the first round of the Miami Heat game, Porzingis strained his calf, which has kept him out of action ever since.

Although he has reportedly been increasing his level of fitness and making good recovery progress, the Celtics are being cautious and won’t push him to return right away.

The group remains hopeful that he can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals as soon as possible.

Even without Porzingis in the lineup against the Pacers, the Celtics are considered the clear favorites.

But having him back would help the team regain focus for the NBA Finals, which Boston will face much more difficulty in winning if the Dallas Mavericks or the Minnesota Timberwolves win the West.

After proving to be a valuable addition, Kristaps Porzingis was traded by the Washington Wizards to the Celtics during the offseason.

He had an effect on both sides of the ball and contributed significantly to Boston’s league-best record at the end of the regular season.

Porzingis averaged 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.9 blocks in 57 games during the 2023–24 season.
