Stoke city confirm loan deal for leicester city defender Conor Coady

Conor Coady, an England international and defender for Leicester City, is a player Stoke City hopes to bring in on a loan this summer. As they get ready for their first full season under former Plymouth Argyle manager Steven Schumacher, Stoke, who ended six points above the Championship’s bottom three in 17th position, are reportedly working on a deal to sign the center-back once the summer transfer window opens.

The 31-year-old former Liverpool defender assisted the team in winning the Championship, paving the way for an immediate return to the Premier League for Leicester. He was primarily utilized as a backup for Enzo Maresca’s team, though, and did not always start.

While the Potters are thought to be in the lead in the Coady race,’several’ other second-tier teams are reportedly vying for their attention, according to the TEAMtalk report.

With a wealth of Championship experience, Coady is now signed with the Foxes till 2026.
