Report: Celtic interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper in Replacement of Joe Hart

Patrick Pentz, the goalkeeper for Bayer Leverkusen, is supposedly a target for Celtic.

After Joe Hart declared he would be hanging up his gloves and retiring earlier this season,

the Scottish Champions will be searching for a replacement goalkeeper in the summer.

Celtic has shown interest in the 27-year-old, who is presently on loan at Brondby,

according to Football Insider. Pentz still has a year left on his Bayer Leverkusen contract, and according to the source,

Celtic may try to recruit the Austrian internationalist.

He has only made over 190 games in his career,

and none of them have been with the current Bundesliga Champions, despite his advanced age.
