Rangers sign £3,000-a-week star who’s “far better than Dessers” medicals schedules…

What an addition this would be for the Gers.

Michael Stewart, a former player who is now a commentator, says Rangers need to look into adding a “instinctive” finisher,

who would be a major boost over their present striker options.

News about Rangers transfers
This season, Philippe Clement’s team will face Celtic in the Scottish Cup final in an attempt to add that title to their earlier Scottish League Cup victory.

After that game is over, all eyes will be on the transfer market as the Rangers try to close the gap on their league rivals by signing some significant and powerful players this summer.

Abdallah Sima, who is only now on loan at Ibrox after impressing since joining from Premier League club Brighton,

will undoubtedly be looked upon by the Gers to sign him permanently before the next campaign begins.Dessers-Rangers-Benfica-Diomande

Similar circumstances surround Fabio Silva, who hasn’t had as much of an influence on the massive Scottish Premiership team.

According to a recent update, he may be called back by Wolves before being sold to another team.

Rangers are rumored to be interested in signing Aberdeen midfielder Connor Barron,

as they are in competition with Celtic for his services. The 21-year-old is still developing as a player,

but Jim Goodwin has called him a “brave” football player who has a high ceiling.

Encouraged to sign a “instinctive” ace, Rangers
After an incredible season,

Stewart stated on BBC Sportsround [via Ibrox News] that Rangers should acquire Hearts attacker Lawrence Shankland this summer:

“Shankland is probably not someone I would pick if I were Celtic.

But at Rangers, across town, everything seems obvious.

He would play, be extremely fit and sharp, and outperform Dessers in every way.”

Shankland, who earns £3,000 per week, has been linked to Rangers on several occasions this season.

There was even discussion of a trade occurring during the January transfer window, but it ultimately fell through.

With 24 goals this season to lead the Scottish Premiership in scoring,

he could be considered a priority target in the upcoming weeks and months.

He is currently six goals ahead of second-place Matt O’Riley.

His boyhood passion for the Gers only increases the chance of him being selected,

and Neil McCann’s suggestion for the Scotland team encapsulates his genius.

Shankland, who is 28 years old, is in a fantastic place in his career to join Rangers and start scoring goals right away.

He might spend three or four years there in his prime.

It makes perfect sense for them to come to an agreement,

as Stewart suggests, and he would undoubtedly find the move appealing.
