Personal terms agreed: 22-year-old set to join Ibrox as Rangers look to secure first summer arrival – report

Rangers are on the verge of making their first signing of the summer, with Jose Cordoba set to join them at Ibrox.

According to the Daily Record, the 22-year-old defender has agreed to personal terms with the Gers.

Rangers now need to reach an agreement with Levski Sofia to sign the Panama international.

The Bears may need to spend £3.2 million to secure his services, which would include future add-ons built into the deal.

The team must pay roughly £2 million upfront.

Cordoba is recognised as one of the best defenders in the Bulgarian league.

The left-sided defender recently visited Ibrox to watch Rangers play Kilmarnock, but he has been left out of the squad entirely.

Rangers’ transfer activity round-up

This will be a huge transfer window for the Bears.

Philippe Clement replaced Michael Beale after Rangers’ terrible start and has done an excellent job.
