The Hoops will need a new goalkeeper after Celtic’s Scottish Cup final against Rangers on Saturday,

since Joe Hart is scheduled to retire.Over the previous three years,

the Englishman has been a true rock of stability for the Bhoys between the sticks,

but this summer, he has made the decision to end his playing career.

A few names, such Ugurcan Cakir and Alex McCarthy, have already been tossed into

the hat as potential replacements for the seasoned goalkeeper; Ari Muric is the next.

The Scottish Sun claims that the Hoops are mulling a move for the Burnley goalkeeper,

who has emerged as a possible Hart replacement.

25, Muric arrived at Manchester City at the age of 16. After that,

he spent multiple loan stints with teams including NAC Breda,

Nottingham Forest, Girona, Willem II, and Adana Dermirspor before making a permanent move to Burnley in 2022.

The 36-time Kossovo international’s contribution to the Clarets’ Premier League promotion

the previous year was crucial, but James Trafford’s arrival has reduced his playing time in 2023–2024.

Muric may be young for a “keeper,” but he has already made over 100 senior football appearances.

Although his Burnley contract doesn’t run until 2026,

a move to the Hoops could be appealing given his team’s recent relegation back to the Championship.
