Villans has joined Newcastle United in partnering with Adidas for the 2024-25 season.

Newcastle United isn’t the only Premier League club forming a deal with Adidas this summer.

Aston Villa has officially stated that they have struck a multi-year arrangement

with the sportswear giant to become the club’s official uniform partner beginning in the 2024-25 season.

It comes after Newcastle revealed a similar agreement in September last year,

believed to be worth £30 million each season.

Both the Magpies and the Villa have negotiated early exits from their Castore arrangements due to difficulties with production or customer service.

“We believe that we should be judged by the company we keep, so we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Adidas,

one of the world’s largest and best sports brands,” said Chris Heck, President of Business Operations at Aston Villa Football Club.

“This agreement marks an exciting new chapter for Aston Villa Football Club,

as we strive to continuously rank among the world’s finest football clubs.

“The announcement of the relationship with Adidas, the Club’s largest technical alliance in history,

follows the announcement of our new front-of-shirt partner, Betano,

a few weeks ago, and marks another milestone in our effort to build our business on a worldwide scale.

We are excited to reveal the fans the new home kit for the forthcoming season,

which will feature UEFA Champions League football at Villa Park for the first time in the club’s history. “Up, Villa!”

Adidas Global Football General Manager, Nick Craggs, stated,

“We are happy to announce and share with fans adidas’ new collaboration with Aston Villa Football Club.

To collaborate with the club for the first time in our histories marks the beginning of an ambitious future together,

from creating the greatest product for both athlete and fan, to sharing tales and events that will connect us with Aston Villa fans all over the world.”

While Villa fans wait for more information,

Newcastle fans know that their first Adidas-designed home kit in 14 years will be available on Friday, June 7.

Sales are likely to skyrocket, given Adidas previously designed some of the club’s most iconic jerseys, particularly in the 1990s.

As part of the agreement, the Magpies will consolidate their retail operations and completely renovate the club store at St James’ Park’s Gallowgate End.

While the store undergoes substantial renovations, a temporary shop consisting of five modular ‘Rapid Retail’ units will open on Wednesday, May 29.

In addition, Eddie Howe and his players will visit Adidas’ cutting-edge £850 million

World of Sports complex in Herzogenaurach in July before going to Japan via the UK for a commercially driven tour that includes two friendly matches.
