Amid his unexpected departure from Brighton, De zerbi clarifies he would be the next manager at bayern munich
This summer, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi declared his intention to leave the Seagulls, and the Italian manager has now made clear what he intends to do next.
The revelation of De Zerbi’s departure from Brighton caught everyone in the football community off guard. The Italian has been connected to a number of elite teams, including Manchester United and Bayern Munich, home of Harry Kane. The Italian has, however, stated that he is prepared to take a break from the game and that he does not currently have a managerial position secured for the upcoming campaign.
In an interview with the media, De Zerbi stated [via the BBC]: “There isn’t a club; nobody is offering anything. Nothing as of yet. My goal is to return to work in the Premier League. When and where are unknown to me. However, working in the Premier League was an honor.”
Early in the 2022–2023 season, Graham Potter moved for Chelsea, and De Zerbi joined Brighton to take his place. The Seagulls took a quick liking to the Italian, as their football team’s performance won them over with his managerial skills. The Seagulls qualified for the Europa League in his first season after finishing sixth in the Premier League.
