Chelsea news as Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi set to leave the club ahead of a summer of head coach changes across the world

Roberto De Zerbi will leave Brighton after this Sunday’s Premier League final day,

the club has announced. This Saturday’s game against Manchester United will mark the Italian manager’s final game with the Seagulls.

De Zerbi’s exit coincides with rumors that he is being linked to several positions in Europe,

including those at Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

He is also the clear favorite to succeed Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich,

while other positions at Anfield have been filled in one way or another and Jurgen Klopp’s replacement at Anfield has been announced.

” Chairman Tony Bloom said of the 44-year-old’s contribution to the team’s success.

“We have mutually agreed to end Roberto’s contract at a time that suits both parties allowing us the earliest opportunity to plan for next season,

and Roberto plenty of time to consider his next move and his future.”

“In the interim, I’d like to thank Roberto and his staff for all of their hard work in the past,” Bloom continued.
