Adam Idah Breaks Celtic’s Heart as he Agrees to sign deal with Serie A club

The Italian team Verona is interested in Celtic attacker Adam Idah.

The Cork man has been recognized by the struggling Serie A team as a player who can supply the firepower for a much-needed push up the table.

Adah hasn’t started a league game this year despite having seven goals for Norwich City and one for Ireland this season.

Adah is in and out of the team.

Norwich reports state that Verona has made a loan offer for the balance of the season, while Genoa is keeping an eye on things.

The 22-year-old would then be targeted by Verona for a permanent contract in the summer, ahead of the following campaign.

However, Norwich’s offensive depth is limited, so the Canaries will probably thwart any advance for the time being.

Idah was substituted during yesterday’s 5-2 FA Cup loss to Liverpool, and David Wagner,

the manager of Norwich, was questioned about his team’s interest in the Ireland star.

“I can’t see this happening,” Wagner stated,

“because we’re not super strong in numbers for the squad and in the striker position as well.”

German, however, added after leaving the door open for Verona: “But

Verona is tied with third-place Cagliari with 18 points,

but two spots above the relegation zone out of the 20 teams in the Italian premier division.

Idah and Norwich City agreed to a new long-term deal in February of last year, which is valid through the summer of 2028.
