It appears that West Ham United has joined Brighton & Hove Albion in their pursuit of Ibrahim Maza, a promising player for Hertha Berlin.

According to a story in the German tabloid Bild,

the Bundesliga team will soon need to deal with the significant attention that some of its players have been attracting.

Hertha Berlin wants to hold onto their great talents, but in order to balance their budget this summer, they may have to make some sales.

Maza is one of such players; according to Bild, after seeing him play in Germany, teams including West Ham, Brighton, Brentford,

and Leicester City have shown interest in signing him.

Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg, two more Bundesliga teams, are rumored to be interested as well.

Although it appears like this major race can definitely provide Hertha Berlin an opportunity to make a bigger deal,

the publication reports the midfielder has a market value of €1.5 million.
The same Bild first revealed Brighton’s interest in Maza in March,

stating the 17-year-old was on the Seagulls’ roster.

They will now have to contend with far tougher opposition from teams like West Ham.
