Report: Brendan Rodgers to  keep Joe Hart for one more year

Hart is far from finished and if I was Brendan Rodgers, I’d be asking him for one more year.

Joe Hart is scheduled to leave Celtic in the summer, but it appears he may jump ship and become a pundit for

the European Championship.

But if I were Brendan Rodgers, I would be attempting to get the No. 1 to put down the mic and pick up the

gloves once more for the upcoming campaign. The Celtic manager should be pushing for Hart to have a change

of heart instead of considering the possibility of replacing Hart. Despite his advanced age of 37, there’s no

indication that he’s prepared for the knacker’s yard.

Hart, on the other hand, has excelled this season. Throughout his three years in Glasgow, he has consistently

performed at an extremely high level; in fact, since declaring his intention to retire at the end of the current

campaign, he has performed even better. I simply observe how he handled the strain of the run-in and how

happy he was to get his squad over the finish line. While it seems sense to want to leave at the top, I can’t help

but wonder why you would give up everything.

At Rugby Park, you could understand the significance of winning another trophy for him.

The enthusiasm, pride, happiness, and simple satisfaction at finishing the task they began nine months ago.

Hart has had a significant role at Celtic. You consider the character, experience, and influence he has brought to

the club.
In addition to all of that, he is an extremely skilled goalie. When analyzing Celtic’s championship triumph this

year, many will point to the return of injured players like Callum McGregor, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo

Hatate, and Daizen Maeda, as well as James Forrest’s comeback and Adam Idah’s pivotal goals.

They must not undervalue Hart’s significant saves. He has made the difference at crucial times in important

games. Yes, there have been a few scary incidents, but they are by no means common.

Although he is 37 years old, it’s not exactly old for a goalie, and he looks to be in excellent health and has played

in almost every game this season. It will be quite difficult to find a goalkeeper of Hart’s caliber and stature after

he has performed so brilliantly.

His influence has been remarkable. Many elderly celebrities from the south have visited Scotland,

nearly giving the idea that they believe it will be simple. The majority of them quickly learn otherwise,

and many have failed miserably.

Hart had a great reputation when he came. He played in major competitions, won Premier League crowns,

advanced far in the Champions League, and earned 75 caps for England. However, he immersed himself into

his time at Celtic, and it’s understandable that his fans noticed. For this reason, he will go out as a hero.
