According to Four Lads Had A Dream, Rangers will receive just under £500,000 if Glen Kamara leads Leeds United to Premier League promotion this season.

Leeds moved one step closer to promotion when they defeated Norwich City 4-0 at Elland Road on Thursday, May 16.

Kamara, who the Whites purchased from the Gers for £5 million last summer, played an important role in the victory, playing 90 minutes and perhaps benefiting the Scottish giants.

After 193 appearances for Rangers over four and a half years, Kamara is still expected to profit the club financially after moving to England last summer.

The 28-year-old has been a key member of Daniel Farke’s side this season, starting 33 league games, although his form has dipped in recent weeks.

Though many may not perceive the significance of the £500,000, Philippe Clement will be looking to add to his team during the summer transfer window, and that money may make a significant difference in the level of a player.

Many have already suggested a massive reconstruction this summer, with several players’ loan spells coming to an end and some permanent players’ contracts expiring at the conclusion of the season.

Rangers still have a lot of work to do after missing out on the Scottish Premiership title, and major signings will be crucial if they are to compete with and overcome their Old Firm rivals next season. This money will help with that.
