Arne Slot told to bring Jurgen Klopp’s ‘favourite player’ to Liverpool in £100m swoop

Arne Slot is set to replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager and the club will back the Dutch coach in the upcoming transfer window.

The winger position is one that the Reds are trying to strengthen,

and it will only become more crucial if they sell their best player, Mohamed Salah.

After having their £150 million offer for the Egyptian international knocked down last summer,

Al-Ittihad, a Saudi club, has since made a new offer of £100 million (with add-ons).

Salah’s official stance is that he wants to stay at Anfield for another season and is not for sale,

but since he only has a contract with the team through 2025, Liverpool might be willing to accept the offer.

West Ham star Jarrod Bowen is one name that keeps coming up on the shortlist of possible successors for the 31-year-old,

which the Reds’ CEO of Football has started to compile.

With 16 goals in 34 Premier League games so far this season,

the England star is tied for ninth place in the division in scoring. He has been in incredible form.

Salah is out, and Liverpool gets Bowen in?
Bowen has been on Liverpool’s radar for a while, according to TEAMtalk,

but getting him to leave West Ham will undoubtedly be difficult.

But Klopp stated in a December interview that he would really love to see Bowen move to Anfield.
