£70,000-a-week Leeds star may now have played his last game under Farke
He has been a loyal servant but his time may be up.
It has surfaced that Leeds United is prepared to sever connections with one of their highly paid players this
summer; the player may have already played his last game under Daniel Farke.

According to recent sources, Leeds needs to make history in order to avoid having to hold a fire sale this
summer. Much more worrisome are the amount of fees still owed to other clubs. According to the Yorkshire
Evening Post, “Leeds owe a sum in the region of £73 million to other clubs in transfer instalments up to the year
end June 2024, with an additional £116 million in instalments due further down the line.” The Yorkshire outfit
reported losses of £33.7 million for the most recent tax year.
According to The Daily Mail, Leeds “will have to raise close to £100m in player sales” if they are not promoted
this season, and “sources close to top-flight clubs expect a fire sale at Elland Road” if they are not promoted the following year.
The statement also states that “up to 10 could go and would only be replaced by free transfers and loan
signings” as Leeds struggles to stay afloat. Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville are two of the top
contenders to depart due to intense interest.
Leeds had to win the play-offs for the first time in their history to avoid that; they have lost five times already,
most recently to Derby County in the semi-finals in 2019.
They take on Norwich at Elland Road on Thursday night, with the score tied at zero goals in the semi-final.
Should they get past the Canaries, they will play either Southampton or West Brom in the championship game
at Wembley. It has now been revealed that one of the longtime favorites is probably going to leave this summer.
Farewell, Bamford
That comes in the form of none other than stalwart member Patrick Bamford, who has around 200 appearances
under his belt for the Yorkshire club and is ranked 13th among all-time best goalscorers, including 23 in the
premier league.
But injuries have plagued him in recent seasons, and now he’s running out of time to return to action this
season due to a knee ailment that kept him out of the play-off semifinals.
