One former Manchester United player believes that Declan Rice’s consistency will be the key to his skyrocketing transfer value and that the West Ham midfielder will be worth more than Jack Grealish.
Paul Parker, a former England international, has estimated Declan Rice’s worth at least £100 million.
The former Manchester United player thinks Rice would be Old Trafford’s
“best signing for a long, long time,” and he believes that consistency will be essential to Rice’s long-term success.
Rice has been playing brilliantly for the Hammers, and following a strong showing against Manchester United the previous weekend,
rumors about a reunion with Ralph Rangnick’s team have once again appeared.

Because of the enormous transfer fee that Manchester City spent for Rice’s England teammate Jack Grealish,
Parker believes that the amount that David Moyes has previously rated Rice at “far,
far more than £100million” would be the minimum needed to force Rice out of the club.
“Manchester United needs him, big time,” Parker said to BetfredTV.
“That is precisely why Manchester United needs him, as you witnessed over the weekend.
“The issue is that he won’t cost you £100 million because,
as I’ve stated numerous times, he is a far better player for any team than Jack Grealish is for Manchester City.
Jack Grealish cost Man City a lot of money,
but you don’t get that kind of reliable player. Every week, Declan Rice plays the same.
