Suffolk County Council grants £500,000 in funding to six Ipswich projects

Improvements to music venues, theaters, and youth programs are just a few of the projects that will benefit

from funding and help Ipswich grow.

Over £500,000 has been set aside by Suffolk County Council for six significant initiatives planned for the town

that aim to improve wellbeing and boost the local economy.

This is the most recent stage of SCC’s Ipswich Investment Fund, which will see £2 million invested locally.

Improvements to the street lighting around the waterfront were his first project to receive funds for this

initiative.
