James Forrest is one player who has experienced his share of ups and downs.

He has been a vital player in recent weeks, having been out of the first team picture for the most of the campaign.

Forrest’s efforts over the past few games have been crucial to Celtic’s hopes of winning the league championship.

What few could have imagined even a month ago was that he was even starting against the Rangers at Parkhead.

With his performances, the seasoned winger most definitely deserved that position.

Forrest’s Celtic career appeared to be coming to an end.

He was even connected to a winter relocation.

However, it appears like the winger is trying to take advantage of this second wind.

Forrest has been a fantastic player for Celtic for many years.

In recent seasons, he had found getting into the team very difficult though.

But he has now proven that he can still contribute to the team.

Also, you simply cannot replace the experience that someone like Forrest has.

So, it would be understandable if he is handed an extension.
