Jamie Vardy was sighted in Italy, witnessing Como’s promotion to Serie A.

Vardy scored twenty goals for Leicester City this season,

helping the club win the Championship and return to the Premier League.

Vardy, who is out of contract at the King Power Stadium this summer,

has sparked talk that he may seek a move abroad from England.

Como are presently managed by Cesc Fabregas,

a former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder, and finished second in Serie B this season.

Thierry Henry is also a team stakeholder, and Vardy has been linked with a move to Italy.

The former Fleetwood player has had his fair share of ups and downs at City, but he has no plans to retire just yet.

“I’m not ready to hang the boots up yet, the legs feel fine,” he added earlier this year.

“I feel as fit as I ever have, so we’ll just see what happens.”

Leicester manager Enzo Maresca has expressed similar sentiments,

implying that a new deal for the experienced forward is on the way, amid rumours of interest from League 1 club Wrexham.

“He will score goals until he is 45 years old because it is in his blood to do so.

We are extremely fortunate that he is our player. He’s scored numerous goals.

“Not yet (we didn’t discuss the deal) because the goal was to complete properly.

“We have a game on Saturday, and then we’ll sit, but I believe he’ll stay.

“This is just my feeling, but if I were to decide…”
