Neil Lennon has been targeted again following destruction to his car tyres on the eve of the Glasgow Derby.

Lennon’s time with Celtic, both as a player from 2000 to 2007 and as a manager for two stints, was distinguished by great success, including 21 major championships.

The incident is simply another unsettling moment for Lennon, who is no stranger to such acts, having faced numerous off-field incidents in the past.

He has been a frequent victim of hatred, getting gunshots in the mail and being verbally abused during matches, typically by opposing fans.

The former manager turned to LinkedIn to voice his disgust and alarm about the ongoing vandalism. He uploaded photos of the damage to his vehicle,

including a deep cut and a deflated tyre caused by removing the tyre valve dust cap.
He wrote: “Tyres stabbed again on the eve of a Celtics-Rangers game. Happens way too frequently. The timing is not lost on me.”
The post has subsequently been deleted from his LinkedIn profile.
