But before Alonso’s team pulled off yet another incredible comeback, Leverkusen was on the verge

With the goal, Leverkusen currently owns the record for the longest unbeaten run in European f

was held by Benfica, who went 48 games without losing from 1963 to 1965, for 59 years.
Granit Xhaka said to TNT Sports following the team’s victory over Roma on aggregate, “You see the desire from the team, we didn’t want to slow down.” “We wanted to score the following goal in order to extend our winning streak to 49 games.
“We’re pleased with it. Above all, we’re excited to be in the championship game and we have a great deal of respect for Atalanta. We still have other games to play, but we now have time to prepare and analyse.”
